2K Sports and Konsole Kingz NBA2K8 High Risers Tournament





It's about to go down in a major way people. We have hooked up with 2K Sports to bring you the Konsole Kingz March Madness Tournament. So read up.

Look for the exclusive KKZ March Madness lobby amongst in the 2K8 College Hoops online lobbies on Xbox 360. The lobby is password protected, so you will have to register to get access. Once you submit the form the password will be emailed to you. The lobby will be available for practice until we start the tournament. Once we start the tournament you will have to be good at the 5 on 5 whole court game and the dunk contest, so you better get your game tight.

The March Madness Qualifying Tournament
This is a traditional NBA 2K8 tournament pitting team vs. team, and we're limiting the event to 225 entries. The participants will be broken up into brackets, and everyone will need to shoot, dunk, board, dish and steal their way to the finals. The winner will be rewarded with an exclusive Zune Halo 3 Edition.

The High Risers Slam Dunk Main Event
The top 16 of the High Risers Qualifying Tournament will automatically be entered in the High Risers Slam Dunk Main Event. This tournament will be voted on by the public, as all dunks are submitted via 2K8 ReelMaker. The public will vote down to the final 4. Our special guest judges will decide which of finalist is the ultimate high riser, and award them with a brand new LCD HDTV.

If you really have skillz, you can win BOTH tournaments and walk away with BOTH prizes. So let's get get get it!!

    The rumor is that the rosters will be updated sometime after the NBA Trade Deadline (Feb 22). So, it’s up to 2K Sports on that one. :) We will be using the rosters that everyone else uses in all ranked/unranked matches in the NBA 2K8 Lobby.

    The Qualifying Tournament will start on March 2, 2008. Everyone that is entered will get XBL Messages starting Tuesday, Feb 26, 2008. So be on the look out, as everyone that’s entered will have 48 hrs to sign in to the bracket
